Responsibilities
• Compare output per hour, per line, number of people
• Discussion around weekly man load against standard
• Attend daily planning, shift handover meetings
• Upload weekly production, update KPI’s weekly in MACS
• Generate/distribute GAP report
• Monitor the unreconciled variance on GAP report
• Compare actual retention to standard
• Actual numbers on GAP report
• Update monthly production, consumption, prices, quarterly avg prices in MACS
• Compile P&I report, identify problem areas and action plan
• Report on wastage reduction initiative, price, volume, absolute wastage variances for follow up
• Report monthly price variances, follow up
• Highlight possible issues in daily KPI meetings, waste/price variances in P&I meetings
• Costings for new Product Developments
• Complete NPD costings, spec amendments via workflow
• Costing, review, corrections
• Involved with NPD team to understand process
• Audit all BOM’s (yearly)
• Audit linkage on routings
• Maintain traceability reporting, report daily anomalies
• Implement, maintain the recording of actual waste per line
• Ad hoc functions
Requirements:
• BCom Accounting Degree
• CA (SA) - advantageous
• 3 - 5 years’ experience as a Manager / Cost Accountant
• Management Accounting Costing Systems (MACS)
