Job Summary
Our client, in the Automotive industry, is currently looking to employ a Qualified Diesel Technician based in East London.
Requirements:
- Qualified Diesel Technician - MERSETA recognized qualification.
- Minimum 3 years' qualified experience as a Diesel Technician on trucks.
- Valid driver's license - essential.
- OEM / Dealer experience would be advantageous.
- Electrical knowledge on trucks.
- Diagnostics and fault-finding experience on trucks.
- Must be willing to do standby on a rotational basis.
- Must be prepared to work additional hours when required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
- Ensure high-quality workmanship
- Use OEM diagnostic equipment effectively
- Meet productivity and efficiency targets
- Maintain accurate job records
- Work collaboratively within the workshop team
