Buyer | Procurement & Supply Chain
A leading organisation in the healthcare manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Buyer to join their Supply Chain team.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for managing procurement and sourcing activities within assigned categories, ensuring the best value in terms of quality, price, delivery, and compliance. The role includes supplier management, tender coordination, and strategic sourcing to support operational excellence.
Minimum Requirements
? Bachelor in Business Administration OR Bachelor of Commerce OR CIPS Advanced Diploma
? Valid driver’s license
? No criminal record
? 3–5 years’ experience as a Buyer
? Manufacturing or Pharmaceutical industry experience advantageous
Key Responsibilities
? Procure goods and services in line with company policy and specifications
? Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
? Negotiate pricing and contracts to secure best value
? Source and evaluate new vendors through market research
? Monitor commodity trends and achieve cost-saving targets
? Manage tenders, supplier audits, and compliance processes
? Prepare procurement reports and attend regular supply chain meetings
SHE & Compliance
? Pre-employment and routine medicals required
? Adherence to SHE policies, PPE requirements, and site rules is compulsory
? Exposure to hazardous/biological materials in line with OSH regulations
