Job Summary
Our client, a leading international manufacturing company, seeks a Bookkeeper to join their team, on an undefined contractual basis, to assist with a variety of financial functions, to include inventory recons, foreign exchange transaction recons and debtors.
Please note that this is a contractual role, to start immediately, therefore, you will be resident in Cape Town and able to commit to a contract.
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION
- You will have a related Financial Qualification, coupled with a minimum of 5 years bookkeeping experience, specifically in the manufacturing, FMCG or engineering sector.
- You must have experience in bookkeeping to trial balance, reconciling accounts to include foreign exchange transactions, inventory recons, debt collection and financial administration and reporting.
- You will be flexible to be able to assist the Financial Manager with ad hoc functions and generate reports as required.
- Ideally you will have worked on an ERP system, such as SAP, Syspro or Oracle and have advanced Excel skills.
- You will be able to work independently and be a team player.
- You will be able to provide contactable references, have a clear credit and criminal record
