As an Internal Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for driving sales through proactive outbound calls, managing customer relationships, and supporting the sales team with administrative and order-related tasks. This role is ideal for someone confident on the phone, highly organised, and committed to delivering excellent customer service while ensuring smooth sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
Handle telesales activities and conduct daily outbound sales calls, including cold calling.
Communicate with external customers regarding queries, product information, pricing, and order requirements.
Provide administrative support to sales personnel, including managing documentation and follow-ups.
Manage customer orders from start to finish, including processing, tracking, and confirming delivery dates for the relevant sales portfolio.
Assist in processing new and repeat job orders, ensuring accurate quantities, pricing, and delivery timelines.
Prepare quotations based on customer requirements and ensure all details are captured accurately.
Update and maintain the CRM system with customer interactions, sales activity, and order progress.
Build strong internal and external relationships to support smooth sales flow and customer satisfaction.
Follow up on outstanding quotations and maintain an active sales pipeline.
Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric)
Excellent communication skills
Confident and experienced in making outbound sales calls, including cold calling
Strong administrative ability with good attention to detail
Basic computer literacy (CRM experience advantageous).
