We are seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and results‑driven Manufacturing Director to lead national operations and ensure optimal production performance across all business units. The successful candidate will take full accountability for operational excellence, strategic alignment, profitability, and the development of a best‑in‑class operating model. This role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to drive a unified culture across all service partners and stakeholders.
Key Performance Areas (KPAs)
1. Service Delivery & Operations
Oversee the full running of production nationally
Implement initiatives to measure and drive operational performance
Ensure continuous innovation within operations
Maintain high standards across all facilities
Design and manage cyclical national site visits
Align service delivery outputs with strategic initiatives
Assess operational performance of teams and service partners
Develop measurement tools to evaluate service performance
2. Financial & Commercial
Drive innovation to create operational efficiencies
Optimise costs to achieve savings targets
Identify opportunities for company growth
Ensure service contracts are fulfilled and credits claimed where applicable
Manage profitability through cost control and commercial insight
Ensure expenses align with approved budgets
3. Strategic
Develop a customer‑focused service culture
Align all services under operational and cultural standards
Identify strategic opportunities for business benefit
Use technology to drive efficiency and innovation
4. Compliance & Governance
Ensure operational compliance with governance requirements
Maintain adherence to documented processes

Manage customer feedback and track resolutions
5. People Management & Team Dynamics
Motivate and manage national teams
Develop and implement training programmes

Collaborate with Operations, Commercial, Projects, and Engineering

Assist with IR/HR matters

6. General Administration
Daily production feedback reporting
Benchmark production outputs
Hold weekly and monthly documented meetings
Maintain all production records
Conduct site visits and reviews
7. Health & Safety
Adhere to ISG SHEQ policies and procedures
Maintain ISO standards and procedures
Implement required measures for compliance
Ensure OHS compliance across all sites
Engage with teams on quality, HSE, projects, and operations
8. Reporting
Prepare monthly presentations for stakeholders
Report on production outputs and operational performance
Manage SLAs for production site closures
Maintain dashboards and statistics

Tertiary Qualification — BSc Degree, Diploma in Production/Operations, Management Degree (EDP/MBA/MBL advantageous)
