Job Summary

Minimum Qualifications:
- Matric
- Certificate in Warehouse Management would be advantageous
- At least 4-5 years’ experience in a similar/same role.
- Driver License and Forklift License
- No criminal record
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Warehouse/Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a store, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively.
- Ensure receiving process is followed by checking confirmed receipts and inspection of goods.
- Co-ordinate offloading and ensure document controls are in place.
- Ensure photos are taken of all truck loads leaving and arriving. This needs to be filed to ensure that transporters can be charged for damage to stock.
- Maintain store staff job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees, planning and monitoring.
- Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing a report with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
- Ensure availability of merchandise and services by maintaining inventories.
- Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control.
- Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met.
- Deliver excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Prepare detailed reports on buying trends and customer requirements.
- Complete all transactions on Pastel system
- Cycle counts and stock take management
- Continuous improvement projects
- Practice Health and Safety daily
- Planning daily tasks
- Draw up SOP’s and work instructions
