Job Summary
Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking to employ a Production Worker to join their team based in Sydenham, Port Elizabeth.
The role involves hands-on assembly, machine operation, quality control, and packaging to ensure efficient and high-quality output.
Requirements
- Matric
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios)
- Technical aptitude with the ability to operate or learn machinery
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
Responsibilities
Assembly and Production
- Assemble products manually or using machinery
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment
- Ensure machinery runs efficiently and safely
Quality Control
- Inspect finished products for defects
- Report quality issues to supervisors
- Maintain high production standards
Packaging and Dispatch
- Package, label, and organise finished goods
- Prepare products for shipment
Production Efficiency
- Meet daily production targets and deadlines
- Follow instructions from the Plant Manager / Production Supervisor
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Working Hours

- Monday to Friday: 07h30 – 17h00
