Job Summary
We are a leading supplier and distributor in the steel, water, and wastewater industry, providing high-quality materials and solutions to infrastructure, construction, and industrial projects. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Storeman to join our warehouse and operations team. As a Storeman, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of steel products, pipes, fittings, valves, and associated equipment used in water and wastewater systems. Key Responsibilities : Receive, inspect, and unload incoming deliveries Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently Load and unload steel products and piping materials safely Maintain accurate inventory records and stock control Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Assist with stock takes and inventory audits Follow all workplace health and safety procedures Skills & Experience Previous experience in a warehouse or storeman role (steel, industrial, or plumbing industry experience highly regarded). Forklift license (essential or willingness to obtain) Ability to handle heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and teamwork skills Basic computer skills for inventory systems Strong understanding of workplace safety practices.Error!
