Job Summary
- Responsible for monitoring and controlling the tissue machine and auxiliary operations on shift
- Effectively leading and guiding the Stock prep Operator, Machine Attendant and Assistants
- Effective management of safety, health, and environment
- Shut management
- Analysis of paper samples
- Manage and guide the machine assistants on the machine
- Ensure availability of raw material (cores, glue, etc) on the machine floor
- Inform team leader of any technical issues on the machine floor
- Ensure short interval controls are performed on shift
- Compile shift performance report for team leader
- Ensure good housekeeping and safety adherence on shifts
This position is responsible and accountable for the efficient operations of the tissue machine from the machine chest to paper on the reel including the auxiliary systems such as broke system, hood system, vacuum system, and approach flow system
