Job Summary
Job summary:
- Responsible for the management and monitoring of production plans and associated functions
- Managing and coordinating departmental team members to ensure that organizational and production requirements are met
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Compilation of Master Production Plan (MPP)
- Sales liaison: managing delivery dates and lead times
- Monitoring daily invoicing in relation to the MPP
- Ensuring administerial timeframes are adhered to
- Co-ordinating material requirement plans in conjunction with Procurement Department to meet production requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification
- A degree in Industrial Engineering will be beneficial
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role is essential
- Previous exposure to a production environment would be advantageous
- Technical/operational background
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
