Operate the Nanxing NB7CJ automatic edge bander to apply high-quality edge banding (PVC, ABS, wood veneer) to furniture panels. Ensure flawless finishes, precise material handling, and efficient production for cabinetry, carcasses, and custom projects. Key Responsibilities Machine Operation & Setup Set up, calibrate, and operate the Nanxing NB7CJ for straight/curved edge banding. Adjust machine settings (temperature, pressure, feed speed) for different materials (MDF, chipboard, plywood). Load edge tape rolls, glue pots, and panels according to job specifications. Edge Banding Execution Apply edge banding to panels for cabinets, shelves, and carcasses with zero tolerance for gaps, peeling, or uneven finishes. Execute multi-stage processes: trimming, scraping, buffing, and corner rounding. Monitor glue application, tape alignment, and finish quality in real-time. Quality Control Inspect finished panels for adhesion strength, color consistency, and smoothness. Troubleshoot defects (e.g., glue lines, chipping, blistering) and adjust machine parameters. Ensure compliance with technical drawings and customer specifications. Maintenance & Safety Perform daily cleaning of glue pots, rollers, and cutting units. Replace worn blades, tapes, and adhesive supplies proactively. Adhere to OHS Act: Use PPE (gloves, goggles), ensure emergency stops are functional, and report hazards. Workflow Coordination Prioritize jobs to meet production deadlines for Cut & Edge and cabinetry projects.Error!
