Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Screen Printer with strong technical knowledge of inks, curing, and adhesion — especially on difficult substrates such as plastic, glass, and aluminium. If you understand the science behind ink behavior and can help us improve long-term bonding and durability, we want you on our team.
About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality prints, troubleshooting adhesion issues, and guiding us in best practices for achieving consistent, durable results.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate screen printing machinery and equipment
• Mix, match, and modify inks for correct viscosity, flow, and curing
• Print on plastic, glass, and aluminium substrates with a focus on strong adhesion
• Identify and resolve ink adhesion problems (e.g., surface tension, curing, pretreatment, contamination)
• Recommend and apply correct primers, additives, or surface treatments
• Conduct quality control checks during production and final inspection
• Maintain screens, machinery, and a clean working area
• Work with the production team to meet targets without compromising quality
Requirements
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in industrial screen printing
• Strong knowledge of ink properties, curing temperatures, solvent-based vs. UV inks, and adhesion techniques
• Proven ability to consistently achieve adhesion on plastic, glass, and aluminium
• Experience with flame or chemical pretreatment (advantageous)
