Job Summary
A well-established manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join its production team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating production machinery safely and efficiently, maintaining quality standards and supporting the achievement of production targets.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor production machinery according to operating procedures.
Set up and adjust machines where required.
Monitor production output and product quality throughout the shift.
Identify and report machine faults, quality issues and production deviations.
Perform basic machine checks and assist with routine maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate production records and report production information.
Keep the machine and surrounding work area clean and organised in line with 5S standards.
Follow all quality, safety, EHS and production procedures.
Work effectively with technicians and other production team members.
Requirements
Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
Good understanding of production and quality requirements.
Ability to identify basic machine or production issues.
Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
Ability to work shifts and meet production targets.
Reliable, safety-conscious and team-oriented.
Good communication skills.
