Job Summary
Minimum requirements:
Matric/Grade 12
Red Seal Electrical Trade Certificate – Essential
Valid Wireman’s Licence (Highly Advantageous)
Knowledge of preventative and breakdown maintenance
Previous experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Experience with industrial machinery and equipment
Mechanical maintenance experience will be an added advantage
Main Responsibilities:
Electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery
Fault finding and attending to electrical breakdowns
Preventative maintenance and inspections
Installation and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems
Minimising production downtime through effective troubleshooting
Maintaining compliance with electrical and safety regulations
General Plant electrical maintenance
Key Skills and Competencies:
Good understanding of occupational health and safety requirements
Ability to work independently and under pressure
