We have an opportunity for an Production Admin Clerk to join our team in East London (Quenera North) on a contract basis.

- Computer Literate (MS Office package)

- Shift production hours, after hours as / when required
- SAP/ERP Experience

Job Description
- Responsible for attending to customers as point of sales and telephonic sales
- Assisting sales rep with queries
- Doing all production admin functions and stock takes (Raw, finished goods) and engineering
- Responsible for despatch
- Must adhere to the Health and Safety policies
- Be at your workstation 5 minutes prior to the start of production
- Follow 3 simple rules – LOOK, THINK, ACT
- Ensure onsite customer services queries and issues are resolved to an exceptional standard
- Provide continuously and professionally feedback on stock, generally follow up and feedback on new developments
- Assist with walk in customers professionally as they enter the office
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
- Manage safety together with the plant manager.
- Identify specific safety hazards that will be encountered in the performance of your work and take corrective action to minimize these
- Wear personal protective clothing provided by the company
- Escalate any safety issue within their work area
- Hand out PPE to customers and visitors
- Responsible for despatching correct products, colors and quantities with correct information and documentation
- To confirm and receive daily stock input from the Production Department
- To liaise with Internal Sales regarding stock availability. Check daily stock availability against sales required
- To supervise other yard personnel
- Process delivery notes and schedule deliveries and collection with transporters and customers
- To ensure that correct product is always loaded
- To ensure correct quantities are always despatched
- To ensure only quality-approved product is despatched
- To ensure product is despatched only from designated stacks
- To ensure loading takes place as per the standard format from the stacks
- To conduct a monthly stock count
- Ensure the day-to-day office and plant administration is conducted
- Ensure the production checks daily
- Manage the staff’s wages i.e., shift rosters and weekly wages
- Reporting to management respectively
- Plant shift rosters and assist with planning of staff
- Ensure all staff starter packs are concluded and any HR / IR matters administration for the plant employees with the foreman
- All administration functions designated to you for action by the plant manager
- Purchasing and procuring of item as requested by Plant manager
- Creating, stacking, and tracking of production orders
- Writing of production and yard breakages
- Batch documents for courier to accounts payable, plant and customer service
- Issuing of raw materials on sage, e.g., diesel, Ip.
- Administrate and co-ordinate stock takes, finish goods, raw materials, and engineering spares
- Petty cash
