Key Responsibilities • Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the Manufacturing / Plant operation. • Oversee production planning, production control and operational performance. • Manage and coordinate Sales, Administration, Production, Stock, Procurement and Dispatch functions. • Drive sales performance, customer retention and new business opportunities. • Monitor budgets, operational costs, profitability and expenditure. • Ensure effective stock control of raw materials and finished products. • Monitor production output, productivity, wastage, downtime and product quality. • Ensure customer orders are effectively coordinated with production capacity and delivery requirements. • Lead and manage departmental managers, supervisors and operational teams. • Monitor employee performance, attendance, productivity and staffing requirements. • Ensure effective administrative controls, record keeping and management reporting. • Identify operational risks, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, quality standards and health and safety requirements. • Prepare and present operational, sales, production and financial performance reports to senior management/directors. • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, profitability and overall business performance. Minimum Requirements • Relevant Degree/Diploma in Business Management, Operations.Error!
