Job Summary
REQUIREMENT:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Assistant General Manager, Assistant Resident Manager, or similar role
- Strong Rooms Division background essential
- Previous experience in a large hotel or lodge operation essential
- Proven leadership and team management ability
- Strong understanding of Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Reservations, and Spa operations
- Excellent guest relations and communication skills
- Sound financial understanding including budgeting and revenue management
- Opera Cloud experience essential
- Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Professional, organised, and service-driven approach
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Resident Manager in overseeing all lodge operations
- Focus on Rooms Division including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Reservations, and Spa
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences and service delivery standards
- Assist with revenue optimisation, occupancy, and operational profitability
- Lead, motivate, and support departmental teams
- Conduct regular property inspections and ensure operational standards are maintained
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, policies, procedures, and health & safety standards
- Monitor guest feedback and proactively resolve concerns
- Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and service providers
- Assist with staff training, coaching, and performance management
- Stay updated on hospitality industry trends and operational improvements
- Relief the Resident Manager when required
