Job Summary
REQUIREMENT:
- 3–5 years’ experience in a similar hospitality management role
- Previous experience within a luxury lodge or safari environment preferred
- Strong operational understanding of lodge and Rooms Division operations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong guest relations and hosting ability
- Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively
- Proficient in Opera / Opera Cloud systems
- Well-presented, professional, and hands-on approach
- Ability to work in a remote environment
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Resident Manager with daily lodge operations
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences and service standards
- Welcome, host, and engage with guests throughout their stay
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special arrangements professionally
- Oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B, Kitchen, Spa, Retail, and Activities departments
- Conduct daily lodge inspections and operational walkabouts
- Ensure compliance with lodge SOPs, policies, and procedures
- Assist with reservations, occupancy management, and guest logistics
- Lead, motivate, and support departmental teams
- Assist with staff training, coaching, and performance management
- Promote professionalism, teamwork, and operational excellence
- Act as Relief Manager when required
