Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Product Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will serve as the subject matter expert for our products, providing technical and commercial support to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders. The role requires a strong understanding of product features, market trends, and customer needs to ensure successful product adoption and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products and solutions.
- Provide product training and support to customers, sales teams, and business partners.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and customer consultations.
- Assist customers in identifying the most suitable products for their needs.
- Support the sales team with technical expertise during the sales process.
- Respond to product-related enquiries and resolve customer concerns effectively.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Gather customer feedback and provide recommendations for product improvements.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operational teams to support product launches and campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, product feedback, and market intelligence.
- Assist in developing product documentation, training materials, and user guides.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Relevant qualification in Business, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field (depending on industry).
- Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in a Product Specialist, Technical Sales, Product Support, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of customer service and sales principles.
- Experience delivering presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel when required.
