To supervise the daily warehouse operation, manage warehouse workers, coordinate goods received from Johannesburg, prepare goods for customer collection and Takealot delivery, and ensure proper workflow, stock control and documentation. Key Responsibilities • Supervise warehouse workers and allocate daily tasks • Receive, check, sort and stage goods arriving from Johannesburg • Coordinate loading, offloading and movement of goods in the warehouse • Prepare goods for Takealot delivery and collection • Communicate with clients regarding delivery bookings, collections, rejected goods and returns • Provide clients with evidence of delivery or collection, including signed documents, photos, PODs or acknowledgements where applicable • Update management on delivery status, collection status, rejected goods and any operational issues • Assist with planning daily delivery / collection schedules for Takealot and other customers • Monitor warehouse cleanliness, packing standards, labelling and safety procedures • Report shortages, damages, delays, rejected goods or client queries immediately • Maintain basic warehouse records and daily reports • Assist hands-on with loading, offloading and sorting when required Minimum Requirements • Previous warehouse / logistics experience • Supervisory experience preferred • Able to manage staff and work under pressure • Takealot / e-commerce logistics experience will be advantageous.Error!
