- Relevant Tertiary Qualification beneficial
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years' experience in a production coordination, preferably within a chemical, paint, coating, or process manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) for inventory management and production planning.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in recordkeeping, PO processing, and inventory tracking.
- Plan and manage the daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet sales forecasts and customer demand, optimizing resource and capacity utilization.
- Create works orders based on requirements for orders and stock level maintenance and completion of works orders after production.
- Monitor production processes, ensuring adherence to the schedule and resolving any issues or bottlenecks that arise in the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with the Quality Control department to maintain strict quality standards throughout the production cycle, ensuring all batches meet formulation specifications.
- Prepare and analyse production reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) like output, efficiency, and waste, and suggesting areas for continuous improvement.
- Ensure all production activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to paint and chemical manufacturing.
