HR Manager

Our client is seeking to employee a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager. This position reports directly to the Managing Director and Head HR EA.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conducting recruitment for the existing and newly branch JHB and assist establishment of the branch.
Establishing a recruiting, interviewing and selection program and counselling managers on candidate selection
Support with the recruitment and selection of all new staff for all branches
Managing the job offer process by negotiating compensation package including salary, start date, and allowances for local.
Creating recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and local SA labour law.
Comprehensive knowledge of BCEA, LRA, EE, BEE SDL, WSP
On-boarding and induction of new employees.
Maintaining of all company employment contracts
Drafting & revising of company policies, procedures, and protocols in line with industry standards & organizational values
Supervising and implementing the HR regulations, policies and workflows of headquarters and branch.
Supporting and guiding management with the interpretation of policies, procedures, and protocols.
Affording HR support and service to other departments.
Managing and driving all aspects of the day-to-day HR operation and activities.
Maintaining the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
Provide counselling to department heads on proper documentation and legal requirements for discipline and termination process.
Ensuring that employee HR-related queries are addressed in a timely manner through frequent contact and support.
Counselling of employees.
Identifying personnel problems and developing recommendation for improving the situation.
Handling internal company grievances.
Representing organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
Monitoring sick leave and overtime usage and generate reports to track any trends that need to be addressed.
Maintain public relation with government departments. agencies, media etc.
Ensuring the administration of benefits to employees is taking place in an effective manner
Conducting all probationary and annual appraisals
Ensuring that all re-contracting renewals or terminations are done on time
Development and evaluation of individual KPI’s and succession planning
Exit interviews upon employee termination.
Full payroll administration including commission calculations, bonuses and deductions.
Submission/declaration of UIF on monthly basis, submitting EMP201 to SARS
Responsible for driving initiatives within the business that will facilitate employee retention.
Attending regular meetings with management to address HR-related concerns.
Other duties assigned by MD and HR headquarters.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management.
Comprehensive knowledge and experience of SA labour legislation
Good communication, negotiation/influencing skills.
Strong interpersonal skills (ability to work effectively across functions)
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with excellent communication, both written and verbal
Results driven and an innovative approach
Analytical problem-solving approach
Own vehicle and valid driver’s license & No criminal record
Professional yet approachable and compassionate personality, as employees should feel comfortable discussing personal issues.
Dynamic, charismatic, and enthusiastic personality with good organizational skills and an eye for employee performance.
Team leader, with an ability to influence others to achieve results and encourage professional and positive working environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with thorough understanding of Microsoft Excel, for all reporting purposes, and Pastel.

35K Basic.
