Job Summary
We are looking for a Driver Trainer to support our training function. You will be responsible for training, re-training, skilling and upskilling drivers. Furthermore, you will assist with the recruitment and assessment of new drivers as well as assist with developing training programs.
In this role, you should combine a strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure. You should also be a reliable problem-solver.
Your goal will be to facilitate learning and ensuring classes run smoothly.
Location: Pretoria
KEY DUTIES
- Train and evaluate all Code 14 heavy duty drivers
- Maintain records of training done
- Recruitment and assessment of new Code 14 heavy duty drivers
- Conduct driving performance evaluations
- Accident remedial training
- Classroom Training
- On Road On Job training
- Preparation of training schedules
- Providing input for the development of training material
- Coaching and mentoring
- Feedback to management on training / trainee performance
Requirements
- Grade 12 (required)
- Certification as Driver Trainer (Assessor, Facilitator and / or Moderator)
- Valid Code 14 Driver Licence with PrDP
- 4-5 years relevant work experience in Training/Learning environment.
- Computer Literate
- Knowledge of MS Office skills (required) and LMS (desired).
