About the Role
Our client, a global leader in logistics and supply chain solutions, is seeking a driven and ambitious District Sales Executive to join their Cape Town team.
This role is ideal for a results-oriented sales professional who thrives on building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving targets in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of new and existing clients.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the forwarding and clearing industry.
- Conduct client meetings and presentations to understand customer logistics requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored logistics solutions.
- Maintain accurate records and pipeline activity within the CRM system.
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPI requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the freight forwarding and clearing industry.
- Proven track record in business development and sales.
- Strong understanding of international freight, customs, and logistics solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Stable employment history.
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
