Job Summary

Overall Purpose of The Job Experienced and agile Freight Forwarder with hands on operations experience in all disciplines of freight – air/sea/road/rail/warehousing/distribution as well as strong oversight/understanding of customs clearing, fleet, accounts and the commercial aspects like CRM, sales, and customer satisfaction needs. Job is to design and/or steer the companies Cargo Wise development, integration and most importantly automation (both internal and external). Drive the motto, use tech to do things smarter. The position is loosely referred to as the Managers Manager and requires a highly analytical and intuitive individual who is process driven, extremely logical and thrives on intense and detailed administration. The position requires extensive audits of current processes, systems, and procedures with regular EXCO reporting as to change recommendation. A people’s person that can train and extract the best out of people and the system, who realises that the future lies in providing something unique and special to our customers, from both and innovation and best in class service delivery perspective!
