Distribution Planner Effective and efficient planning of a fixed fleet through optimised utilisation to ensure achievement and improvement of cost, lead time and green KPI's. Responsibilities • Planning of orders/loads and resources. • Ensure allocation of resources agree with real time execution • Analyzing daily performance and manage Master Data integrity. • Reporting Structure to manage and supply feedback to Management • Monitoring and reporting driver route performance to Team Leaders and managers for performance against delivery schedules. • Performing daily expeditor debriefs to establish opportunities to improve planning effectiveness and communicating outcomes and opportunities to management. • Follow route sequence and identify excessive standing times - follow up and note • Follow up on action taken by Team Leaders and Managers for instances where unacceptable driver behavior had been highlighted for action. • Report back on exceptions to Depot Manager. Requirements • Own Transport • Candidate must be well presented and professional • Good communication skills • Computer literate with Microsoft Office particular MS Outlook and Excel. • Degree/qualification in Logistics • Minimum of 1 – 2 years’ experience within a Logistics environment. • Knowledge and understanding of planning and satellite tracking software solutions advantageous. • Experience in Logistics planning and scheduling advantageous.Error!
