Ensure adherence to SOP’s and efficiency standards to ensure effective material handling activities and storage of all goods in Stores and Warehouse.
Responsible to process requisitions and BOM requests.
Responsible to perform physical stock counts, expiry checks and submit reports to the Stock Controller.
Perform transactions on stock management systems (electronic and/ or manual) to reflect the activity performed and ensure that the system is up to date.
Ensure physical resources for receiving activities (e.g. pallet jack, pallets) are available by planning of activities and evaluation of incoming goods delivery schedules.
Prepare the area for all material handling activities.
Inform line management as to quantities of consumables used for operations to ensure required minimum as dictated by safety/ buffer stock levels. .
Ensure systems are followed for all material handling operations, receiving, pick and pack and stock control in line with GWP.
Ensure material handling and stock records operations records are systematically filed and sassily retrievable.
Ensure plan hygiene/ cleanliness is maintained.
Ensure maintenance of the area and any equipment used in daily activities.
Check calibration and maintenance records of the section and escalate any problem areas to management.
Ensure goods are protected at all times to prevent deterioration and/ or loss.
Ensure that all applicable documents are completed for the operations as they occur.
Ensure that measurements and statistics are reported on a regular basis.
Pro-actively plan for sufficient cold packs and components to be available for the packing operation.
Ensure RTS and/ or BOM requests are processed timeously and packed according to SOP.
Requirements:
Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent.
At least 1 years’ experience within a similar position.
Experience in quality management systems within a cGMP facility
Experience in warehousing or pharmaceutical industry would be advantageous
Must be immediately available.
