The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to lead a high-impact operation where accuracy, organisation, and delivery excellence matter every single day. You will be responsible for ensuring finished goods are stored, managed, and dispatched efficiently, while driving continuous improvement across systems, people, and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Take full operational control of receiving, storage, and dispatch of finished goods.
Ensure inventory accuracy while maximising warehouse space and efficiency.
Set and maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, and operational discipline.
Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff to achieve performance and productivity targets.
Work closely with production, logistics, and planning teams to ensure seamless operations.
Measure and manage performance through key indicators such as inventory accuracy, order fulfilment, cost per unit shipped, productivity levels, and safety performance.
Use data and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and drive operational excellence.
Oversee warehouse management systems and ensure optimal utilisation.
Manage transport logistics to ensure on-time deliveries while optimising routes and costs.
Resolve delivery, handling, and customer-related issues quickly and professionally.
Control warehouse-related budgets including labour, supplies, and logistics spend.
Implement quality processes for damaged or returned goods.
Actively manage stock levels, including slow-moving or aging inventory, to reduce risk and financial exposure.

Minimum Requirements

Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
Sound understanding of supply chain and logistics operations.
Proven leadership ability with a strong focus on accountability and results.
