Legal Assistant – Commercial Law (Hybrid | Stellenbosch)

Are you a legally qualified professional with a knack for commercial contracts and a proactive work ethic? Hire Resolve's client is looking for a driven Legal Assistant to join their team in Stellenbosch.
Key Requirements:
Legal qualification essential (BCom Law preferred).
Experience in commercial law required; litigation experience acceptable but not ideal.
Exposure to a small-scale law firm advantageous.
Must be comfortable handling contracts and legal documents independently.
Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting, reviewing, and managing a variety of commercial contracts and legal documents.
Conducting basic legal research and interpreting relevant laws and regulations.
Supporting internal teams with legal and compliance queries.
Ensuring documents are accurate, consistent, and aligned with company processes.
Assisting in refining and improving internal contract and legal workflows.
Ideal Candidate:
Smart, practical, and not afraid to take initiative.
Strong common sense and professional maturity.
Comfortable learning the ins and outs of a specialised business environment.
Open to younger professionals with relevant experience.

Work Environment:
Full-time, on-site role with remote Wednesdays.
