Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of legal work, including:
Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, including loan agreements, security documents, commercial contracts and related transactional documentation
Drafting pleadings and court documents
Drafting letters
Conducting legal research and preparing memorandums where required
Managing and progressing matters under supervision
Assisting with the closure of the commercial transactions, including monitoring compliance
Attending court and sheriff’s offices where necessary
Communicating with clients and maintaining professional relationships
Providing general legal support across the firm’s matters
Minimum Requirements
1-2 years post-admission experience (A qualified notary would be a big advantage)
Experience in commercial law
Strong legal drafting ability
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organisational and matter management skills
Driver’s licence and own vehicle
