Job Summary
Law firm in Pretoria is looking for an experienced, hands-on HR Manager to take ownership of the full HR function.
This role requires someone who understands the demands of a professional-services environment and can confidently manage everything from onboarding and payroll to performance management, employee relations and compliance.
Key requirements include:
Relevant HR qualification
Minimum 5 years’ HR experience
Experience within a legal practice or auditing firm is essential
Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation, particularly the BCEA
Payroll administration experience
Knowledge of LPC Candidate Attorney registrations and Board Exam processes
Experience with performance management, probation and employee relations
Ability to draft employment contracts and HR documentation
Knowledge of B-BBEE requirements
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters professionally
Confident working independently and taking ownership of the full HR function
