The Role – Where Practical Skill Meets Bush Life: This individual will be responsible for all basic maintenance and repairs across the lodge and farm, including gates, plumbing, and general small fixes. They will conduct regular equipment checks and ensure everything is in top working order, from water systems and meters to pumps and essential infrastructure. They will also manage daily fleet checks, including fuel, cleanliness, and basic vehicle readiness for game drives, as well as supporting veld and farm upkeep. When required, they will assist with non-guest-facing ranger support tasks and ensure vehicles are fully prepped for use. Reporting directly to the Lodge Manager, they will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the property. ?
