Our UK-based client, a leading e-commerce business specialising in pottery and ceramics, is looking for an experienced Remote Sales Consultant (Inbound and Outbound) to join their growing team.
This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Previous experience or knowledge in the pottery and ceramics industry will be highly advantageous, but is not essential.
This is a fully remote position requiring a professional home office setup, reliable internet connectivity, and the ability to work independently.
Requirements1–2 years' experience in inbound and/or outbound sales, customer service, or a similar sales-focused role.
Based in South Africa.
Proven experience meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
Experience or knowledge within the pottery and ceramics industry will be highly advantageous.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with a confident and professional telephone manner.
Experience using CRM systems and digital communication platforms.
Strong consultative selling, objection handling, and relationship-building skills.
Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
ResponsibilitiesRespond to inbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a professional and timely manner.
Conduct outbound sales and follow-up calls to prospective and existing customers where required.
Convert enquiries into sales through consultative selling and product recommendations.
Build strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
Provide accurate information on products, pricing, promotions, and order processes.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's pottery and ceramics product range.
Accurately record customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups within the CRM system.
Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets and performance metrics.
Collaborate with colleagues to improve sales strategies and enhance the customer experience.
Manage post-sale communication to ensure a seamless customer journey.
