A unique opportunity exists for an experienced Farm Manager and Hospitality Manager to join a prestigious private farm and hospitality estate in the Western Cape.

Farm Manager
The Farm Manager will oversee all farm, operational, maintenance, and hospitality functions, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the property.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily farm, hospitality, maintenance, and guest operations
Manage orchards, livestock/game, irrigation systems, and land management
Coordinate seasonal farming activities including fertilisation, spraying, and crop planning
Lead and manage staff, contractors, and service providers
Oversee budgets, purchasing, procurement, and cost control
Ensure infrastructure, machinery, generators, solar, and water systems remain fully operational
Manage preventative and reactive maintenance
Maintain high housekeeping and facility standards across the property
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across all departments
Requirements
Proven farm management or agricultural experience
Strong leadership and people management skills
Financial and operational management experience
Practical understanding of farming operations and infrastructure
Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
Hands-on and solutions-driven approach
Hospitality Manager
The Hospitality Manager will oversee front-of-house operations, guest experience, staff administration, and operational support while acting as the right hand to the Farm Manager.
Responsibilities
Manage reservations, guest communication, and front-of-house operations
Ensure exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure
Oversee housekeeping schedules and accommodation standards
Manage staff rosters, leave schedules, and HR administration
Assist with payroll preparation and staff administration
Oversee stock control for groceries, uniforms, and consumables
Maintain operational records, reports, and digital filing systems
Support procurement and purchasing administration
Coordinate maintenance requests across departments
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and documentation
Requirements
Proven experience in high-end hospitality or luxury guest operations
Strong front-of-house and guest relations experience
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Experience managing staff and operational processes
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Computer literacy, including Excel and administrative systems
