Leadership & Interpersonal Skills We are seeking a Management Couple with the following skill set: Team Leadership: Motivating, training, and managing staff, fostering a positive environment, resolving conflicts, conducting performance reviews, and setting goals. Communication: Clear oral and written skills for guests, staff, and management, with excellent listening skills. Problem Solving: Ability to creatively and practically handle guest requests, complaints, and operational challenges. Cultural Awareness & Adaptability: Comfortable working with diverse guest nationalities and staff backgrounds. Business & Financial Skills Financial Literacy: Understanding of revenue management, expense tracking, and working knowledge of MS Office. Operational Financial Skills: Tracking expenses, monitoring procurements, invoicing, and reporting. Operational & Technical Skills Operations Management: Overseeing daily office and lodge operations, supervising all departments (housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, food & beverage, front of house), and managing lodge procurement processes. A diploma in Hospitality Management is advantageous. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with reservations systems, POS, and lodge communication systems. Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and oversee operational and project plans. Licences: He: Valid PDP, driver’s license, First Aid Level 1, FGASA Level 1 (Level 2 advantageous), and snake handling certificate. She: Valid PDP, driver’s license, First Aid Level 1. Attention to Detail: Essential for managing staff, operations, reservations, inventory, and high service standards. Delegation: Ability to assign tasks effectively and empower staff while focusing on higher-level responsibilities. Discretion & Confidentiality: Professionalism in handling sensitive personal and business information. Customer Service Hosting: Commitment to delivering exceptional, personalized guest experiences with knowledge of food & beverages and service standards. Head Guide (He) The Head Guide serves as the link between the bush and guests, providing engaging, safe, and educational safari experiences.
