Executive Chef Location: Waterberg, Limpopo Property Type: Horseback Safari Lodge Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a horseback safari company for an experienced and creative Executive Chef to join their lodge in the Waterberg. The lodge caters exclusively to international clients, specialising in niche equestrian experiences, and requires a chef who can deliver high-quality, memorable dining experiences tailored to a discerning clientele. Key Responsibilities: Plan; prepare, and present high-quality meals for international guests, ensuring exceptional standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene Manage all kitchen operations, including menu development, stock control, ordering, and cost management Lead; train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards and efficiency Adapt menus to cater to international dietary requirements and preferences Maintain compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations Ensure smooth coordination between the kitchen and lodge operations to enhance guest experiences Key Requirements: Proven experience as an Executive Chef, preferably in a luxury or safari lodge environment Strong leadership, organisational, and time-management skills Creative and flexible approach to menu planning and guest service Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dynamic team Professional; reliable, and guest-focused approach Experience in catering for international clients is highly advantageous This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Executive Chef to join a unique horseback safari lodge and provide exceptional culinary experiences to an international clientele.
