Head Guide – Luxury Safari Lodge – Vaalwater
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Head Guide to lead and mentor a team of field guides at a luxury safari lodge in Vaalwater. This live-in role requires a professional who can deliver exceptional guest experiences while ensuring safe and high-quality guiding operations and supporting conservation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct game drives, bush walks, and interpretive activities for guests
• Oversee vehicle and workshop operations, ensuring safety and maintenance standards
• Coordinate incidents and respond to operational challenges effectively
• Train and support junior guides to maintain consistent quality and service
Minimum Requirements:
• ARH & Rifle Proficiency, First Aid Level 2, Driver’s License & Pr-DP
• Previous experience as Assistant Head Guide or Head Guide
• Strong leadership, training, and people management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail, guest-focused, proactive, and reliable
Salary: Negotiable DOE
