This role is ideal for a conservation‑driven individual with strong practical skills and a passion for wildlife, habitat maintenance, and ethical breeding practices. Job Requirements Assist with daily wildlife monitoring, feeding, behaviour observation, and welfare management Record animal data including births, deaths, health indicators, and breeding activity Support veterinary procedures, immobilisations, health checks, and animal handling Maintain enclosures, breeding camps, holding facilities, and ensure compliance with ethical standards Assist with identification, tagging, and microchipping of animals Monitor threats including predators, poaching, disease, and habitat degradation Conduct inspections of fences, water points, grazing areas, feeding stations, and infrastructure Assist with veld management: bush clearing, erosion control, and invasive species removal Maintain accurate breeding records, compliance documents, and data logs Assist with stock control, feed management, resources, and equipment allocation Work closely with wildlife teams, management, and operational staff Supervise rangers, maintenance teams, and junior staff when needed Participate in emergency responses (fire, fence breaches, escaped animals, medical incidents) Support guest education, conservation presentations, and lodge activities where applicable Package Salary: To be discussed based on experience Accommodation provided Lodge benefits included Opportunities for growth within a conservation‑focused group Start Date: ASAP
