Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Trails Guide for a luxury lodge based in Timbavati. This is an exceptional opportunity for a knowledgeable and guest-focused guiding professional who is passionate about the bush, conservation, and delivering world-class safari experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct guided walking safaris and game drives in a safe and professional manner
- Deliver informative and engaging wildlife experiences to guests
- Ensure guest safety and comfort at all times
- Share extensive knowledge of wildlife, ecology, and conservation
- Assist with reserve and lodge conservation initiatives where required
- Maintain vehicles, rifles, and guiding equipment to a high standard
- Work closely with the lodge team to ensure exceptional guest service
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Trails Guide within a luxury lodge or safari environment
- Valid Trails Guide qualification and relevant guiding certifications
- FGASA qualifications preferred
- Valid First Aid certification and PDP
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for conservation and the African bush
- Ability to work well under pressure and within a team
Package:
- Negotiable salary depending on experience
- Live-in position
