**Lodge Management Couple | Luxury Family-Friendly Lodge | Timbavati** Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and personable **Lodge Management Couple** to join a wonderful family-friendly safari lodge in the **Timbavati Private Nature Reserve**, forming part of a highly regarded small collection of luxury lodges. This is a fantastic opportunity for a couple who genuinely enjoy being involved in the day-to-day running of a lodge, building strong relationships with guests and staff, and creating the warm, relaxed and personal style of hospitality that makes a safari stay truly memorable. The successful couple will work closely together to oversee lodge operations, guest experience and team management, while maintaining the high standards expected of an established luxury safari brand. **Key Responsibilities** * Oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the lodge. * Ensure consistently high standards of guest service and hospitality. * Be visible and engaged with guests throughout their stay. * Lead, motivate and support the lodge team. * Manage staff performance, training, standards and general team wellbeing. * Oversee front-of-house, housekeeping, food and beverage and general lodge operations. * Work closely with the kitchen, guiding, maintenance and reservations teams. * Monitor operational standards, stock levels, purchasing and cost controls. * Assist with budgets, reporting and general lodge administration. * Handle guest feedback and resolve any operational issues quickly and professionally. * Ensure the lodge remains welcoming and well suited to families travelling with children. * Maintain strong communication with group management and other lodges within the collection. **Requirements** * Previous experience as a **Lodge Management Couple** within a quality safari lodge or luxury hospitality environment. * Strong operational lodge management experience. * Excellent guest relations and people-management skills. * Comfortable working in a hands-on environment where both partners are actively involved in lodge life. * Good understanding of food and beverage, housekeeping and front-of-house operations. * Strong administrative and organisational ability. * Sound financial awareness and experience with budgets, stock and cost controls. * Confident managing and developing a diverse team. * Professional, approachable and naturally hospitable. * Experience within a family-friendly lodge environment would be highly advantageous. **The Ideal Couple** We are looking for a grounded, energetic and genuinely hospitable couple who enjoy working as a team and creating a lodge environment that feels both polished and personal.
