LODGE MANAGER Lead Excellence at a Premier Hospitality Destination Three Rivers Lodge is seeking an experienced and passionate Lodge Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our established lodge, restaurant, conference facilities, and wedding venue. Role Overview The Lodge Manager will be responsible for the daily operational management of the lodge, ensuring the highest standards of guest service, staff performance, operational efficiency, and profitability. The successful candidate will lead by example, creating memorable guest experiences while maintaining the reputation of Three Rivers Lodge as a leading hospitality destination. The Lodge Manager reports directly to the Managing Director/Owner and oversees all operational departments. Key Responsibilities Operational Management Oversee the day-to-day operations of the lodge, restaurant, conferencing, and events. Ensure all departments operate efficiently and according to company standards. Maintain exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance standards throughout the property. Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and company policies. Guest Experience Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure guest satisfaction at every touchpoint. Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests professionally and efficiently. Build lasting relationships with guests to encourage repeat business. Leadership & Staff Management Lead; motivate, coach, and develop departmental supervisors and staff. Manage staff scheduling, attendance, training, and performance. Promote a positive, professional, and customer-focused working environment. Maintain discipline and accountability within all departments. Food & Beverage Oversight Work closely with the kitchen and restaurant teams to maintain high food quality and service standards. Monitor stock levels, food costing, wastage, and supplier relationships. Ensure profitability through effective cost control. Events & Functions Oversee the successful execution of conferences, weddings, and special events. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. Financial & Administrative Management Monitor departmental budgets and operational costs. Control labour, stock, and operating expenses. Prepare operational reports and analyse business performance. Ensure accurate cash handling and stock control procedures. Marketing & Business Development Assist with marketing initiatives to increase occupancy and venue bookings. Promote the lodge through excellent customer service and community engagement. Identify opportunities to grow revenue across all business areas. Availability Be flexible to work weekends, public holidays, and after-hours when operationally required. Minimum Requirements Qualifications & Experience Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field (preferred). Minimum 3–5 years' management experience within a lodge, hotel, guesthouse, or hospitality environment. Experience managing accommodation, restaurant, and function operations. Proven leadership experience within a customer-focused environment.
