Receptionist / Switchboard Operator – Luxury Wine Estate – Stellenbosch A prestigious luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch is seeking a polished Receptionist / Switchboard Operator to manage guest reception, switchboard operations, and front-of-house communication in a high-end hospitality environment. Description: Our client, a world-class luxury estate in the Cape Winelands, is seeking a professional and well-presented Receptionist / Switchboard Operator to be the first point of contact for guests and callers. This role plays a key part in delivering a seamless, warm, and efficient guest experience aligned with luxury hospitality standards. You will manage all incoming calls, welcome guests with professionalism and sincerity, and ensure accurate communication between departments including restaurant, lodge, and operations teams. Additional duties include handling general enquiries, supporting guest information flow, and ensuring smooth internal coordination across the estate. This role requires excellent telephone etiquette, strong organisational ability, and the confidence to engage with high-profile and international clientele in a fast-paced environment. Salary: R14,000 – R15,000 per month Requirements: Grade 12 (Hospitality qualification advantageous) 1–2 years’ reception or switchboard experience Excellent communication and telephone etiquette Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) Well-presented with a professional, guest-focused attitude Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts Experience in luxury hospitality advantageous
