Package & Benefits Salary: R24,000 – R27,000 (Negotiable depending on experience) ? Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape ? Live‑out position (own transport and valid driver’s license required) ? Key Responsibilities Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation Support menu execution, ensuring dishes reflect seasonal, local, and sustainable ingredients Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and consistency Manage stock rotation, assist with ordering, and monitor kitchen costs Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, safety, and health regulations Contribute to menu development, special events, and guest dining experiences Uphold operational efficiency while encouraging creativity and innovation in the kitchen ✅ Minimum Requirements Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior CDP in fine dining or luxury hospitality environments Formal culinary qualification or equivalent professional training Strong culinary skills with excellent attention to detail Solid understanding of kitchen operations, stock control, and food costing Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences aligned with the estate’s identity ✨ This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated culinary professional to grow within a renowned luxury wine estate in the heart of Stellenbosch, supporting the delivery of world‑class cuisine. ?
