Key Requirements • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior CDP in fine dining or luxury hospitality environments • Formal culinary qualification or equivalent professional training • Strong culinary skills with excellent attention to detail • Solid understanding of kitchen operations, stock control, and food costing • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills • Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences Key Responsibilities • Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation • Support menu execution, ensuring dishes reflect seasonal, local, and sustainable ingredients • Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and consistency • Manage stock rotation, assist with ordering, and monitor kitchen costs • Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, safety, and health regulations • Contribute to menu development, special events, and guest dining experiences • Uphold operational efficiency while encouraging creativity and innovation in the kitchen Package • Salary: R24,000 – R27,000, negotiable depending on experience • Live-Out position (own transport and valid driver's licence required) Please note that only candidates who meet the minimum requirements will be contacted.
