Our client, a prestigious luxury wine estate in the heart of the Cape Winelands, is seeking a professional and vigilant Security Officer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced security professional who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment while delivering exceptional service to guests, visitors and staff. If you have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills and previous hospitality or luxury property experience, we would like to hear from you. The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting the estate's guests, employees, visitors and assets by maintaining a highly visible security presence and ensuring all security procedures are followed. Responsibilities include monitoring and controlling access to the property, preventing unauthorised entry, recording the movement of people, vehicles and goods, conducting routine security checks, responding to incidents and maintaining accurate security records and reports. As the first point of contact for many visitors, you will also be expected to provide a professional and welcoming experience while ensuring strict adherence to security protocols. The ideal candidate will remain calm under pressure, demonstrate excellent judgement, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and discretion at all times. Minimum Requirements; PSIRA registration is essential. Minimum PSIRA Grade C qualification. Minimum of 2 years' security experience. Previous experience within luxury hospitality, hotels or estates will be advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed Strong observational and incident reporting abilities. Clear criminal record. SARS registered. Green barcoded South African ID or Smart ID card. Contactable references. Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Professional appearance with a strong commitment to customer service and safety
