Job Summary
This well established hotel group is seeking a Training Manager who is committed to treating everyone with fairness, respect, and appreciation and is aligned with the company’s values and demonstrate strong potential for growth and development. This position forms part of the centralised Human Resources team, supporting two hotels. Reporting to the Head of HR and General Managers, this role is responsible for: driving a culture of service excellence through the design, delivery and facilitation of training across all departments develop and implement annual training plans, conduct classroom training and on-the-floor coaching develop and maintain training materials and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), lead inductions and seasonal staff training assess learning outcomes, identify service gaps, and implement training interventions that enhance employee performance and guest satisfaction. the role also involves monitoring training effectiveness, supporting compliance reporting, collaborating closely with department heads and operational teams, and coordinating all in-house training initiatives to ensure alignment with operational standards, service excellence and continuous improvement across both properties. Requirements: SA Citizen Matric / Grade 12 qualification Relevant qualification in Hospitality, Training, Human Resources, Education, or a related field (NQF 5) Assessor/Facilitator certification (advantageous) 3 years’ experience in hospitality training, guest relations, front office, food & beverage, or hotel operations Strong facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to influence, motivate, and engage employees at all levels Strong planning, organizational, and administrative skills Proactive; assertive, and results-driven approach Have own reliable transport What is on offer: – An empowering environment. – A remuneration package including risk benefits – 21 working days leave per annum – Other company benefits – Training and development opportunities To apply, please forward an updated cv with copies of Matric / Grade 12 and tertiary qualifications.
