Guesthouse Manager – Luxury Estate Accommodation – Stellenbosch Our client, a prestigious hospitality and events estate in Stellenbosch, is seeking an experienced Guesthouse Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operation of its guesthouse and cottage accommodation offering. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about guest service, accommodation operations, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a boutique environment. Description: Reporting to the Operational Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all guest accommodation operations, ensuring a seamless experience from reservation through to departure. The role encompasses guest relations, reservations management, accommodation administration, housekeeping coordination, quality control, and revenue performance. The Guesthouse Manager will oversee accommodation bookings across multiple platforms, ensuring accurate pricing, availability, and guest communications while working closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager to maximise occupancy and revenue. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards, coordinating room readiness, monitoring guest satisfaction, and ensuring maintenance issues are identified and resolved efficiently. A strong focus on guest reviews, operational excellence, and revenue optimisation will be critical to success in this role. This position offers the opportunity to lead and grow the accommodation division of a well-established hospitality business while contributing to the overall guest experience and commercial success of the estate. Requirements: Previous experience managing a guesthouse, boutique hotel, lodge, or bed and breakfast establishment Proven experience working with Airbnb and online booking platforms Strong understanding of accommodation reservations and channel management Excellent guest relations and customer service skills Strong administrative and organisational abilities Experience coordinating housekeeping and accommodation operations Ability to manage guest concerns professionally and effectively Strong attention to detail and quality standards Computer literate with experience using booking and reservation systems Hospitality qualification advantageous Package Salary: R35,000 per month Permanent position Based in Stellenbosch
