NOW HIRING: Finance Manager | High-End Fine Food Distributor | Stellenbosch, Western Cape About the Opportunity Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to join a high-end fine food distribution business based in Stellenbosch. This senior role will lead the finance function while working closely with Operations, Procurement, Sales and Logistics to drive profitability, strengthen financial controls and improve overall business performance. Key Requirements • BCom Accounting, Finance or related qualification. • Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles advantageous. • 7–10 years’ relevant finance experience. • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Finance Management role. • Experience within distribution, wholesale, FMCG, manufacturing, imports or a supply-chain-driven environment. • Strong financial reporting, management accounts and statutory reporting experience. • Proven budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capabilities. • Strong cash flow and working capital management experience. • Excellent understanding of inventory valuation, stock control and landed costing. • Experience managing imports, forex exposure and foreign supplier transactions. • Strong understanding of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), gross profit and margin analysis. • Commercial finance experience, including profitability analysis and pricing support. • Strong knowledge of tax, VAT, audits, financial controls and statutory compliance. • Proven leadership and finance team management experience. • Advanced Excel skills and strong ERP system experience. • Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Confident stakeholder management and decision-making skills. • Proactive and focused on process improvement, accuracy and accountability. Package • Salary: R50,000 – R60,000 per month. • Live-Out position. • Based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape.
