Estate Manager – Luxury Private Residence – Cape Town Our client, a high-end luxury private residence in Cape Town’s Southern Suburbs, is seeking an experienced Estate Manager / Luxury House Manager to oversee the seamless daily operation of a fully staffed, hotel-standard home. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong operational ability, attention to detail, and a calm, service-driven approach. Description: You will be responsible for managing all household operations in line with established SOPs, ensuring the property is always maintained to exceptional presentation standards. Duties include overseeing housekeeping and laundry teams, supporting staff training and performance, and stepping in operationally when required to uphold luxury service levels. In addition, you will manage preventative maintenance schedules, coordinate contractors and vendors, track work orders, and ensure all maintenance documentation is accurately maintained. You will also oversee inventory control, guest logistics, events, and day-to-day lifestyle services for the principal and guests. Requirements: We are seeking a highly organised, proactive professional with experience in luxury hospitality, superyachts, boutique hotels, or high-end private estates. Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure are essential. The ideal candidate is detail-focused, solutions-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment. Experience with systems, smart home technology, and vendor coordination is advantageous.
